I belive they do
Some but not much.
No
Yea
I'm almost positive they don't have a happy hour.
I would guess they do, but you might want to call and see. Check to see when they are open.
You should call and let them know. Also I went there 30 minutes before they opened and got in first when they opened.
Not sure, call and find out.
Each sushi roll was better than the last and so reasonably priced! Definitely try the Dynamite mussels!
It's a solid 4.7 stars but I'm not a rounder. If the chef or owner came out to check on quality I'd be apt to consider the 5 but I'm all about reserving 5s for 5-Star experiences. I really like the place. Offering Ramune or some authentic Japanese touches would also not hurt the experience.
Best Japanese you'll get state side, Suhiros has Hibachi grill, the best chefs and servers and is locally owned. We took our son there tonight and he had a blast and even learned some Japanese words and culture as well. They also have private traditional rooms for date nights and nights on the town with friends I'd highly recommend their warm saki and calamari steak.Thank you so much to
I'm very late on my review, but I have a long history with this restaurant in regards to dining & knowing the peoplewho work there. Over the years, it's only gotten better. First off, it's a family-oriented atmosphere. The staff are attentive & caring, and the food is great--not JUST sushi.
We had a fantastic meal at Suehiros last night. There was a bit of a wait at the beginning, but it's a popular restaurant on a Saturday night, so it's to be expected. We were seated at a nice clean table, and immediately served by a really friendly waiter named Cody. He got our food and drinks quickly and was always ready to ask how we were doing. The sushi was fresh and delicious, with different rolls compared to other sushi restaurants in GJ. Definitely would recommend, we had a lovely time.
Being born and raised in South central Los Angeles, I ate sushi before I even knew what it was. So, needless to say, I was a bit sceptical about eating sushi this far away from the coast. I have to say I was quite pleasantly surprised. The fish was pristine. The miso soup was on point. The rice was done right. Not what I was expecting at all. Plus as a bonus, the folks eating are super kind, jovial, and extremely informative about the local valley, or Colorado in general. Being a new transplant, this was truly appreciated. All in all a great find. No matter your preconceived notions of sushi you should check it out.
This is Grand Junctions BEST sushi restaurant! Their food is always prepared with such detail. I love the environment as well. They even have a "traditional" style seating area and bar! I will say that's its usually very busy so be ready for a wait. ;)
Best sushi place in grand junction. They have all my favorite sushi rolls. They are usually pretty busy but if you get there early and put your name on the list and then go walk around downtown, everything goes fine.
Give me hours of operation thank you.
Food is always excellent and love the purple haze.
I am part Japanese, love Japanese food, and have ate at Japanese restaurants all over the country. Suehiros is still my favorite! This was the first restaurant my family went to coming out of the quarantine and we were not dissapointed. Service was friendly, sushi and drinks were awesome and we had a great time! Thanks so much!
I love sueheiro and it used to be very top notch. The last two times I've ordered to go there wasn't a whole lot of sushi on the inside and the rolls were not rolled very tight. I can definitley tell one of the best cooks/sushi roller prepper has switched positions and it shows. I order the HIC All the time and the oysters don't even taste smoked or near as good as they used to. I was thinking that it was on a slow day because i ordered on a Monday and had this same experience that the sushi wasn't up to par like it used to be but ordering tonight on a Friday night I got the same experience it is just a little frustrating is all
The specialty sushi here is absolutely delicious. Every time we visit Grand Junction we go here at least once. Like others have noted, the service at night can be a little slow, but we like how our dining experience isn't rushed. Lunch service was not as slow.
Suehiro is the best sushi restaurant this side of the mountains!!!! Fantastic sake selection, excellent sushi , and the server Sam is fantastic!!!! This girl knows her sushi, and she’s going to talk you into trying the Uni and it’s worth the experience!!
Great food, awesome service at a reasonable price. We will be back every time we visit GJ!
Sam is the best! She knows everything about sushi and makes fantastic suggestions!!! Food is delicious, great atmosphere, and be sure to ask for Sam this girl deserves a raise!!
So good and very vegan-friendly for our party of four.
Good, good prices crowded but worth the wait.
This is a 4.5 because the consistency and experience is shaky. The floor for this restaurant is high though and I almost always leave this establishment satisfied. I don’t enjoy the seating and lack of service from the employees but dang if I don’t like me some cy roll.
Food was decent. Service was decent. Menu was large with a number of special rolls and dishes. The environment was cozy. There was an hour+ plus wait on a Saturday and they did not mention any option for reservations so plan accordingly on the weekends. Process were not high however above average from what I've seen at other places. I recommend this place.
Excellent for lunch, surely wonderful for dinner as well. Fair pricing, great portions and premium tastes.
My favorite place to eat on Main street.
Wasabi Bomb is da bomb! Nice atmosphere and friendly staff to boot.
My favorite sushi in town! Never had anything I didn't love from this restaurant. Sometimes there is a pretty good wait but there's a reason they're busy.
BEST SUSHI IN TOWN!!! Great prices, great atmosphere, great food.
AUGH-MAZING!!!! Best sushi for desert atmosphere! Waitress was fun and what an awesome time my husband and I had. We hadn't had sushi like that since our time out in California!
Suehiro is always good for sushi downtown. It's not the cheapest or most expensive place to get sushi either. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing especially if you sit in the traditional seating.
Went here twice, meat was tough each time. Broth for noodle soup was really salty. Great service and atmosphere though.
Great sushi restaurant. Cozy atmosphere and good service.
Love their sushi! They have an amazing selection for less than $7 plus a fancier selection for a little more.
Great service, nice atmosphere, amazing food and great prices.
Tasty and consistently good food. If you love Japanese food, highly recommend you stop in when you’re downtown.
Went on a Tuesday evening. They DO NOT take reservations, which is annoying when you have a group of 10. We were told 60-90min, on a Friday it would easily be 3hrs. We ordered an obscene amount of sushi rolls. All arrived in good order, and fairly quickly. They tasted incredible. Service overall was pretty good, food was great.
Best downtown sushi, ok, well, only downtown sushi but still they make mean rolls and their dynamite shrimp is crisp and delicious. The entree’s are superb and the service is generally awesome but on a busy night you will have to wait!
Had a really pleasant experience. It was really really busy even though we got there a few minutes after open but hey, what can you expect on a Friday night? The aesthetic there is very cool. I sat at a sort of inverted table where I was able to sit cross legged on the floor (my favorite sitting position, lol). I ate some standard sushi rolls that tasted really nice and I tried a mango sake that tasted so good! Special thanks to my waitress, Sam. She went above and beyond to ensure that the food I wanted to order fit the requirements of my food allergies. I am allergic to wheat so going out to eat can be a nightmare. 10/10 would eat there again!
Service is excellent, sushi is the bomb!
Absolutely has the best sushi in town. We are constantly going there for lunch. The staff is always very friendly! Definitely would recommend.
The atmosphere is great and the food is even greater! Just ordering our food made our mouths water! Our wait was a little longer than normal because our server was alone during the lunch hour...but she rocked it!! Not once did she lose the smile on her face or give off any sense of frustration. She really knows customer service!
Wish we had checked this place out sooner! We went in for lunch and had excellent service and amazing sushi! They can't have service at the sushi bar because of the Covid restrictions and they have the tables all spaced out so they filled up quickly so get there at the beginning of the rush. We had the Scooby Snack and the Red Ninja (I think). The rolls were larger sized and very flavorful. We also received complimentary miso soups as apertifs. The decor is cute. They have floor booths (not sure what they are called) in the back if you like traditional seating. We highly recommend!
Great service.....Great Food.....Excellent Staff......andNot expensive. I will come back. Really loved it.
Fresh, delish, and fast ! Love it! Great service and super nice server and sushi chefs.
Went for a friend's birthday. Arrived at 6. We were told it was a 30 to 40 minute wait, which was fine. An hour and a half later we finally got seated. The food was not nearly as good as usual, pretty much Bland The server was awesome as usual.
Always love the food and service
So.... We sat at the sushi bar... Nice atmosphere, friendly sushi chefs....The food was good.... tasty.... and the service great...Great place for a Saturday night dinner....Open til 11 pm...We will be back.... Thanks Suehiro
Delicious, as always! One of my all-time favorite restaurants. Always happy memories formed here.
This place was delicious. They were very accommodating of my gluten allergy which I really appreciated. The specialty rolls were priced like other Sushi places but there basic rolls were tasty and we'll made too so we just ate those! I would recommend.
Love their food. Best sushi place in town, however, it's always extremely busy.
My Hibachi shrimp was pale, did not looked like it was cooked on a Hibachi! Looked liked dried boiled shrimp. And had to wait 45 mins for it!
Went for lunch. Server was helpful and timely. However, my surf clams were well past expiration. They were gritty, limp and very dark. Almost vomited on the second one. Pork egg rolls were a bit under done and tempura was under done and lacked salt. Hadn’t been here for years and was disappointed the sky light had been replaced by ugly tile ceiling. Won’t be returning.
Had a wonderful time. Dinner was great and very tasty. Our server Cody was very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend
